we took a quick trip up to cleveland thursday night to sunday morning since jonny didn't have school on friday and joe was working from home last week. it was really nice, almost felt like we'd never left!
we drove past our old house and jess was like it's our house! but we asked her who lived there and she got confused! we also went to our old apartment and jonny even remembered it- both of their first home!
friday we went to the great lakes science center with natsumi and had a lot of fun! i love our boonshoft museum passes (boonshoftmuseum.org)! we had to practically force the kids to do the other things in the place cause all they wanted to do was the ball pit in the play room. but we had fun exploring and playing!
we also got to tour the william g. mather cargo ship that's docked outside of the museum. it was a beautiful day, but the wind from the lake was COLD! and the lady that was talking about the ship up in the stearing wheel room was NOT very pleasant! we (adults and kids alike) got yelled at a few times! (i'm sorry, but isn't a docked museum ship allowed to have it's buttons pushed? if not- PUT UP A SIGN or cover them up or something!)
