FEAST!!

if it's the middle of august, we're down in little italy for the feast of the assumption! it's definitely a highlight of my summers! it's a long marrone tradition to be a part of the festivities, but now we really only have 3 priorities:
1) cavatelli dinner in the basement of the church!
2) carnival rides
3) cannolis

anything on top of that is just extra fun! again, it was a totally hot day, but we packed tons of water and had a really fun day. we even ventured a trip to see aunty sue, and we did it without breaking anything in the wine shop! matt, sumi, mom, the kids and i had a really fun day!

the kids and i are about to get on the big ferris wheel. jessy wasn't sure about it, because it was so big, but she ended up LOVING it! she thought it was the coolest thing!

this is on my and jonny's favorite rides- the one where you're locked in this metal cage at the end of a long pendulum and you go around and around and around! we went on twice! he's lucky that i have a strong stomach! or maybe i'm lucky that he has such a strong stomach or i would never get to ride these things anymore. either way, we have a blast!
