their town has an awesome librarian and she does the coolest storytimes and crafts. they had a whole summer program with special visitors on weds and then a story time and craft on thrusday that related to the guest. their library, though small, is such a great resource! they even have an on-going booksale in the lobby, and paperbacks are FREE!! hardcovers are only 25 cents! so needless to say, we ended up with a large stack of books 'we don't have to take back' over the weeks!

painting hallowed out gourds after the falcon and bird man came. we are going to hang them outside (when we finally have a place to live) to make homes for the little birdies!
