jonny's class went to the senior community center one afternoon for some fun and games! they gave a little presentation, where each student in the class either recited or acted out a poem about seasons or holidays. then they painted with the seniors and made some great works of art! jonny even started a trend of spinning the brush to make a perfect circle. it wrecks the brush, but does make a cool effect! the seniors had prepared a fun little tossing game for the kids to play as well. prior to the visit, the class also collected supplies that the center was in need of and presented their donation at that time. it was a fun day, and helped connect the community in a special way.
