trying to get caught up here!!!

jessy went to a fun birthday party at a kiddie salon. they got to dress up and get their hair and nails done. then strut the catwalk before cake. she was totally excited! she wouldn't let me cut her nails for 2 weeks before the party so they would be extra long. i told her that she should enjoy the nail polish cause she's never going to get it again, and she very smugly told me that she will just never take it off! (so there!) but my personality shown through, cause the next day she asked to take it off. she did like getting all dolled up though!

here she is with the birthday girl, her fun friend emma, at school the next week for valentines day. luckily, the kid's parties were back to back and i made it to both.

here's jonny's party. he hates getting his picture taken now, so this was on the fly. he's working on a craft.

advice to parents- here's what i learned- if you're going to sign up for both kid's parties on the same day, sign up for the same thing so you're not driving yourself mad that morning trying to get a million things ready! i did healthy snack for both parties and it worked out great! i made 1/2" slices out of 3 pineapples and then used a heart shape metal cookie cutter to cut around the core and make 3 heart shaped pineapple bites per slice. and also sliced strawberries in half to show their natural heart shape. poke 'em with pretzel rods and you're good to go!
