well, columbus doesn't get very much snow. about 4 inches fell in one day and everything stopped and traffic was horrible! i don't even think a snowplow came anywhere near our street all week! but in true clevelander fashion (they got about a foot, and life still went on!), we bundled up and headed out to find the nearest sledding hill.
we had so much fun! the hill was big enough that it was fun for joe and i, but not too steep for the kids. even jessy was having a blast, and we had to make her wear pants under her dress in her snowpants!
i had brought along some hot water and we had a little break for hot cocoa to warm us up before round 2. we played on the snowy playground, and threw snowballs into the river, and rolled down a small hill like you do in summertime. jonny can tell you that a snow covered slide is SUPER fast!!
we all had a good time!
