family SWIM night

where did this girl come from?!?!

tonight the community center had a family swim night, instead of the fun nights the kids so dearly love.  they have a really cool indoor pool, with a shallow play area, a big slide, and a fast lazy river!

jonny tried the water slide a few times, but had trouble swimming to the wall, so the lifegaurds said he shouldn't do it anymore.  he loved the slide, but the current was too strong at the bottom and he couldn't touch.  so he opted for the baby slide a few times. 

normally the 2 of them stay together pretty well, but it seemed like tonight they both wanted to go in different directions, and it was just me (joe's still out of town), so i felt bad dragging one along to the other's thing.  but we all had fun on the lazy river.  they had a whirlpool part in the middle and it was really strong, and a bubble part like a hot tub, but just not hot.

it was really loud in the pool area, there were so many kids, i think i lost my voice!  but it was a lot of fun, and got out what little energy they had left from our very long day!
