after the dentist, the kids were very excited for jonny's holiday party at school! jessy and i made the trip over to the school (in torrential rain, i might add) and it was fun. jessy loves being in his classroom, and she is so funny how she pretends that she is just another student!
they decorated gingerbread houses with graham crackers, frosting, and LOTS of candy, and they all had a lot of fun, especially the eating part! and they played pin the smile on the gingerbreadman, jonny got it right on, jessy, was just having fun with all the attention!
even though we didn't leave his classroom till he was dismissed, he still wanted to ride the bus home! he loves riding the bus so much! he's getting adventerous now, because he's trying to see how far back in the bus he can sit. he made it to row W yesterday, and row X today. the funny thing is, they don't have assigned seats, and it's just the kindergarteners on the bus, so i think it's just his own fears that he's trying to conquer by going so far back. but it makes him really happy, so that's all that matters! simple pleasures! and there's a boy in his class that always makes funny faces at us from the bus as it drives away...ahhh, to be 5 again!
