happy 4th of july! (even though i'm totally late!)

i love the 4th of july, not just because it's the day after my birthday;), but because of the parades! we headed to a neighboring town and i swear i haven't seen so many tractors in one place aside from a john deere dealership! the best part was a beautiful line of horses from colgate university and then an electric golf cart behind for the poop! i didn't get a picture of it, matt did, i'll have to get a copy, but it was pretty funny! everyone had a really great time, and the parade was a lot of fun!

after the parade we watched a really great magician, and walked around the flea market area for a while.




there was a big gap in the parade, so the kids got a thrill out of running to the middle of the road and back. as long as they don't try it any other time, it's cute!


this was a cute community band! they were pretty good too!
