happy easter everyone! we had our first easter alone! it was weird, but i must say relaxing! we dyed eggs, mostly orange and blue for some reason, but there were a few fun ones out of the batch. the kit also had stickers and egg stands that were different animals. they loved it! although it was a little messy in the hotel room, not quite the right cups, and the table was over carpet, but we did it with minimal mess!
and sure enough the easter bunny came and hid the eggs and some special prizes! jessy loved her princess things and has worn them most days since she got them! although, the first crown was just 12 hours old when she got upset at jonny while driving in the car and threw it at him. unfortunately for her, his window was open and out it went! we called the easter bunny to ask if we could find it at the store and it was replaced.
jonny got a bug cage with other tools to use in his bug/ animal addiction. although, the cage has held a lot of things, not many bugs...
since it was our first week in the ward, everyone was very nice and we got several invites to dinner and gratefully took one up and had a great night, meeting some new friends.
