my first bean sprout! it sure was yummy!
i made a 'garden' this year because i thought it'd be fun. and it has been! i did all the seeds in pots since i knew we were moving and i didn't want to tear up a yard that wasn't ours. unfortunately, only the beans survived! i also planted summer squash and jack-be-little pumpkins. but as any 'real' gardener would know, those two don't really like being in pots! but you live and learn right? the pumpkins may survive, but the beans have surprised us a lot! every few days we go out to the tangle of vines and search for more beans! it's fun! jonny wants to plant a garden in our new house. we'll see how it goes in the spring!
