stucco, stucco everywhere!

(one of my favorites!)

we got back from our quick trip to florida very early saturday morning, and no, we didn't find the 'perfect' house! on thursday, the first stucco house and the last stucco house looked basically the same, as well as the 50 in the middle! our heads were spinning by the end of the day!

friday we went into some hosues with the realtor, and that was nice. we managed to narrow our list down to about 15. most homes there are really nice, like built in the 90's, and most have fancy kitchens! but to get more than a 3 foot backyard is a challenge!

i've narrowed my choices down, but joe still has a big list!

before our flight out friday night, we had to go down to the everglades. it was so cool! we went on an airboat ride and saw some alligators! the place also had like a 'petting' zoo. they had one alligator that was like 1500 pounds and 45 years old! and they had baby alligators and i got to hold one! joe was scared!



so, now it's internet shopping for a house since we can't make another whirlwind trip! school starts august 18th, hopefully we'll have a house by then! here's a nice picture of the sunset over the palm trees as seen from the ocean! almost paradise!
