regardless, we had a nice and quiet christmas day. the kids actually slept in a bit, and were very patient regardless of their excitement. jonny said later, 'santa brought me everything i wanted and it's better than i wanted!'. gotta love it!
the bounty
and the lights with our own 'star'. the pink thing is a bed canopy for jessy, and santa really wanted to hang it over her new bed when he dropped off the rest of the gifts, but since we aren't in our house yet, the loft had to do.
this is a puzzle i got for aunt sumi, and it may look easy, but it's actually a lenticular, or 3D hologram. it was horribly impossible!!!! this is where we got with 3 adults working on it for a full 5 hours! each piece had several images on it, and depending how you looked at it, it changed and was utterly ridiculous!
and horribly addicting! but finally, we had to go to sleep and so we covered all the empty spaces and called it good.
matt got a package of hot sauce! use it in good health, and don't add it to anything i'm going to eat!
