happy halloween!

i know i haven't blogged in forever, but honestly, we haven't done anything blog-worthy in the last month! sad, i know! but we have just been going to and from school, playing outside when the weather was pretty good, and just hanging out. nothing too exciting to note.

but now it's halloween and i finally have pictures and things to post! this week, we have all been really sick, so jonny missed the whole week of school and even took a trip to the brand new hospital down the street that had only been open for 4 days when we made our visit. he had the flu really bad (not the swine flu, at least the lab hasn't said that yet...) and croup even worse! so, of course, we all get sick. not to worry, we are on the mend, finally!


she fell asleep right in the middle of the living room this afternoon, she is still sick. when she woke up, she said that she didn't feel good enough to go trick-or-treating.


since we are under the weather, we weren't sure if we'd be able to make it out tonight for the real trick-or-treating, so daddy brought us goodies! it was promptly sorted and divided- and eaten!


poor thing, she had to put on extra layers since it was pretty windy and chilly for trick-or-treating, so she has argyle socks in the glass slippers and tights, a long sleeve shirt under her tinkerbell dress and of course her coat. and let's not forget about the satin gloves!


jonny is so laid back! he's a vampire bat. not much else to say. he was just interested in the candy.




look at how puffy her eyes are! she's still pretty sick, but she made it to a bunch of houses for more candy. although, i had to carry her for about half of them, but that's what mom's do!

jonny's school had a halloween carnival last week, luckily it was before everyone got sick! it was a fun night, and they got to play games, get candy, have treats and run around wild in the gym. jonny has made a lot of good friends at school. the girls, especially, were coming up to him and saying 'hi'. when i asked him about it later that night, he got very embarrassed. it's so cute!

so, hope everyone got enough candy- and hopefully there weren't too many 'tricks' played!
