we adopted another grasshopper! this onewas a different color, and he even shed his skin(? do they call it skin? i don't even know, but there was a shell in there!) and they were out looking for snails one night, and joe found a bunch of little ones. jonny was going to grab one, then noticed a really big one by his foot! lucky! 
i had to take a picture of this tree. it is just so weird! it's some kind of pine. but where are all the branches? i don't understand florida wildlife!
