STATE CHAMPS!!

we were lucky enough to move into a championship school this year!  the high school football team went

15-0, a perfect season!  we took the kids to the state championship game!  it was a fun game, most students were there, and every time we had a touchdown, some people near us threw confetti.  we won- of course!  can't remember the score, though, i guess that's what i get for waiting 7 months to blog!

the kids got a little bored watching the players, so they took to collecting the confetti!  whatever made them happy!

here is the trophy presentation after the game.  it was really exciting to be a part of this special event!

good job players!  here's hoping for a repeat championship season in the fall!

jonnny made this poster for the team.  he was really proud of the work he did.  he wrote in little sayings about the team and their hard work, and colored it all in.  his class was working on biographies about the players, so they were visiting his classroom a lot.  he really got into it!
