we went to the kirtland memorial day parade this year to get a feel for our new community. in the parade from the school to the memorial park, they let the kids ride their bikes behind the firetrucks. the kids were so excited! we didn't have time to decorate their bikes, but they had some flags we could use.
the parade itself was pretty small, they save the big stuff for the strawberry festival a few weeks later. but we still had a fun time and were able to talk to a few people about our new school and community.
then we headed to uncle michael's and aunt beth's for some fun. it was a HOT day, but that didn't stop the trampoline jumping. i like this one with jessy en-flight from jonny's bounce.
