we had a busy weekend to kick off the christmas season! we went to the annual 'lunch with santa' at my mom's school. it's always a mad house with kids everywhere, but we had fun, and got to play some games and make a few fun crafts. we didn't win any of the raffle prizes this year, the kids were pretty bummed about that, we've won at least one thing other years, but no such luck this year. but we did see santa, and he promised to bring us so cool things for christmas if we can be good for the next few weeks!
and we went to my mom's ward christmas party over the weekend too. they had it all set up like ancient jerusalem, so we had to wear costumes and they did a little presentation that was really cute of the nativity. jonny was supposed to have a shepherds vest on, but he refused to wear it. jessy was an angel.
so, merry christmas to everyone. i hope you take time to enjoy the christmas season, and embrace all the joy that you have in your life!
