so i was at a popular christian bookstore chain today looking for a picture of Christ for a family night file lesson. i know i can just print one out, but i didn't want to use all that ink and i wanted it to look nice. so, i'm wandering around this really nice store, they got lots of cool things, and i'll probably go back for more stuff (although its a little overpriced!). after a few minutes of not being able to find anything, i asked a clerk where i could find a little postcard or bookmark, any kind of picture of Chirst. she said they didn't have anything! in amazement i kept looking, thinking that she just didn't know what she was talking about. a christian bookstore without Christ?
walk into any deseret book and you're bombarded with pictures of Christ, ranging from wallet sized with the articles of faith, to full sized fancy art work with frames! and usually, they cost less than a dollar! or just ask any missionary for a picture and they'll give you one free!
and people still say that we aren't Christians!!
